7000 Series

7000 series aluminum alloys are ultra-high-strength wrought aluminum alloys, offering a tensile strength of 500-750 MPa, an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, and good low-temperature performance. However, they have moderate corrosion resistance, require surface protection, and exhibit poor weldability.

Typical alloys such as 7075, which offers excellent overall performance, and 7050, which exhibits strong stress corrosion resistance, are widely used in aerospace applications (such as aircraft fuselages and landing gear), high-end equipment (such as racing car components), and precision structural parts, where weight and strength requirements are stringent.
