6000 Series

6000 series aluminum alloys are heat-treatable aluminum alloys with magnesium (Mg) and silicon (Si) as their primary alloying elements, combining lightweight construction with moderate strength. Their atmospheric corrosion resistance surpasses that of 2000 and 7000 series aluminum alloys, and their surface corrosion resistance can be further enhanced through anodizing and electrophoretic coating. They also offer excellent weldability and reasonable cost, making them widely used in construction, transportation, electronics, and machinery manufacturing. Its core alloys include aluminum 6061, 6063, 6082, 6016, 6014, 6101, etc.
